Tigers dealing with adversity
Through the first five weeks of the season, Auburn found a way to win even when they got off to a bad start or things didn't go its way.
But Saturday, the wheels finally came off as Arkansas rolled to a 44-23 win giving the 17th-ranked Tigers their first loss of the season.
But it also gave AU an opportunity. An opportunity to see how they respond to adversity.
"We've got a very young team. We're going to figure out exactly how we respond to these types of situations because I don't know yet," AU head coach Gene Chizik said. "We'll go back to work. We're not going to flinch.
"We got beat by a good football team, and we deserved to get beat. We didn't play well."
Chizik will have to lean on his upperclassmen this week, including junior offensive tackle Lee Ziemba, who has started 29-straight career games.
