Georgia held a "Players Only" meeting following practice Tuesday evening in hopes of turning their season around.
According to freshman tight end Orson Charles, the meeting was called by upperclassmen, who urged their teammates not to give up on the rest of the season after the Bulldogs fell to 3-3 with last week's 45-19 loss to Tennessee.
Charles said it was a message that needed to be relayed.
"I think we all needed to hear that," Charles said. "They want us to keep fighting."
Five players spoke during the meeting - senior defensive tackle Jeff Owens, senior cornerback Prince Miller, junior fullback Fred Munzenmaier, senior receiver Kris Durham and redshirt sophomore defensive end Justin Houston.
Last year, the Bulldogs' defense held a "Players Only" meeting following Georgia's win over 42-38 win over Kentucky. The next week, Georgia responded with a 17-13 victory at Auburn.
The Bulldogs (3-3, 2-2) travel to Vanderbilt (2-4, 0-3) Saturday for a 12:21 game against the Commodores.
