Van adjusting to life away from home

InsidetheGators.com When Travon Van first committed to Florida out of left field over the summer, the fact that the Gators took him at that time may have come across to some as sort of a 'thank you' to his high school head coach, former UF Director of Football Operations Ken Starr. After all, the 5-foot-11, 200-pound athlete was basically an unknown, and unrated after having been ranked as only a two-star coming out of San Diego (Calif.) Helix the year before.
