Daniel Thomas had class on Tuesday, so he wasn't able to make it to the Vanier Football Complex and put his standout season in perspective with two regular season games to go. That's OK. Kansas State teammates championed a popular notion floating around the locker room these days: They believe Thomas is the hands-down favorite to win the Big 12 Offensive Newcomer of the Year award at the end of the season.
