Verner ready for another bow
Rick Kimbrel
BruinSportsReport.com When UCLA takes on Arizona State on Saturday it will be the last game played as a Bruin in the Rose Bowl. BruinBlitz.com was able to talk to a few of the seniors to get their thoughts on their journey as a Bruin football player.
The First one we talked to was Alterraun Verner, who burst onto the UCLA landscape with a pick for six in his very first game.
BruinBlitz.com: Al this will be your last game as a UCLA Bruin at the Rose Bowl. Did your time at UCLA fly by?
Verner: "It definitely flew by. I still can't believe it, quite yet. It's not really going to hit me until after the game Saturday. I cannot even fathom the thought that I won't be going to the Rose Bowl anymore. It's probably going to be an emotional game when I get there. Yes, it the time definitely went by fast."
