New-look lineup leads the Tigers
Everyone knew Mike Anderson would unveil a new look lineup on Sunday afternoon against Texas-Pan American. Starting guard J.T. Tiller had been ruled out with a sprained foot suffered in Mizzou's last game. But putting Mike Dixon Jr. in for Tiller wasn't the only change.
Kim English also started the game on the bench while Marcus Denmon got the starting nod.
"Next, let's go. Step in," Anderson said of his team's rotation.
All the moves seemed to work on Sunday. Denmon scored the team's first seven points, including a three that kicked off a 44-2 run. Dixon had nine points and dished out seven of the Tigers' 28 assists. And English hit nine of his 12 shots on the way to a career-high 25.
"We don't have any starters," English said. "We just have 13 guys."
