Dodge City, Kan., linebacker Laton Dowling made a verbal commitment to Kansas State in July, before beginning his senior season of football. There was no wavering to his pledge to play for the Wildcats, but there was a change late in the process that will allow the three-star prospect to get rolling with his career.
