Texas Bowl breakdown
It has been more than a month since Missouri played a game. At 2:30 this afternoon, the Tigers take on Navy in the Texas Bowl. PowerMizzou.com breaks down the matchup and offers up our thoughts on what will go down later today in Houston.
Final Analysis and prediction: The team that starts fast should win this football game. If Navy can ride the early emotion and grab a two-score lead early, they can run the ball all day and bleed the clock, limiting Missouri's offensive possessions. If the Tigers are the team that jumps out early, it's almost impossible to envision Navy being able to come back. Missouri is playing well and can set the stage for big expectations the next couple of years with an impressive win. Navy is a solid team that won't beat itself and will go hard on every single snap. They just don't have the talent that Missouri does. We see a big day for Gabbert and Alexander in a 37-21 Tiger win.
