Selvish Capers has been at West Virginia a long time. The former All-New Orleans first team selection from St. Augustine Prep is the last of the so-called props. The term "prop" is short for "Proposition 48," the NCAA legislation that once admit non-projectors like Capers to Big East schools like West Virginia. The provision allowed a Capers to pay his own tuition for his freshman year. If he showed he could make it academically, he could get on the spring practice field. Which he did. Capers graduated from WVU, recently.
