Lauderdale Lakes (Fla.) four-star defensive back Demar Dorsey is fast, but USC's recruiting machine led by Lane Kiffin is keeping up with him step for step.

With a flurry of new scholarships offers popping up in the Southeast, the Trojans recently directed their focus toward a longtime Florida commit.

Dorsey, who has been timed as running a 4.28 in the 40-yard dash at various combines over the summer, has expressed interest in the Trojans since June. Now, with a new coaching staff in place at USC, Dorsey will finally get his plane ticket to Los Angeles.
