In April, before ever visiting Auburn, four-star defensive tackle Jeffrey Whitaker was impressed with Tracy Rocker.

The Auburn defensive line coach, a former Auburn defensive tackle, was one coach from one school Whitaker wouldn't have to do a lot of research on.

Whitaker, 6-foot-3, 315 pounds, rated by Rivals.com as the nation's No. 5 defensive tackle, was familiar with Rocker.
