Wednesday night was an emotional victory for the Kansas Jayhawks (28-2, 14-1), defeating rival K-State in a battle of top 5 teams, securing of the outright conference title, as well as sending Sherron Collins out on senior night with perhaps their biggest win of the year. On Saturday, KU will travel to Columbia, MO for round two of the Border Showdown with Missouri (22-8, 10-5), who dropped the first match up with Kansas, 84-65.
