KU sweeps Border War series

JayhawkSlant.com Columbia, Mo. -- No. 2 ranked Kansas (29-2; 15-1) did something very few teams have done the past two seasons when playing in Columbia, Mo. The Jayhawks, behind five double-digit scorers, including a team-high 13 points from Tyshawn Taylor, defeated Missouri (22-9; 10-6), 77-56. Down 17-10 early in the contest, Kansas ended the first half on a 16-0 run and led by that margin at halftime. The Tigers pulled to within four points in the second half, but back-to-back three-pointers from Tyrel Reed sealed the deal for Kansas.
