A&M does some fine tuning in final week
With six assistant coaches absent from Tuesday's afternoon practice due to recruiting responsibilities, Texas A&M stepped onto the field for the start of their final week of spring ball. Despite the missing coaches, the Aggies put in a solid days work as they installed new packages and absorbed as much information as possible before breaking until two-a-days in the fall.
"This morning was really sharp and crisp," head coach Mike Sherman said. "This afternoon we threw some new stuff at them and had a lot of pressure from the defense. The defense looked really sharp with their pressures and we had a lot of balls knocked down. I thought they did a good job of running their pressure packages and that is what we did today, primarily.
