Lauderdale Lakes (Fla.) Boyd Anderson inside linebacker Kent Turene has been awash in collegiate offer letters. At last count, the 6-foot-3, 230-pounder sported 36 scholarship letters, including his latest addition: Cal.

The Bears just offered Turene-the cousin of Chicago Bears defensive back Woodny Turenne-and no one was more surprised than Kent.
