Fisher preparing for home stretch

Warchant.com Vacations and Jimbo Fisher are kind of like oil and water. Since taking over as Bobby Bowden's successor in January, the 44-year old coach has been on a mission to turn around Florida State's underachieving football program. With Fisher directing massive changes across the board, there has been little time to take a break.
With the start of preseason practices just a couple weeks way, FSU's new head coach was able to take a short vacation earlier this month to recharge his batteries for the long haul ahead.
"I went down to Argentina for a couple days but other than that it was Dizzy Dean baseball," Fisher told Warchant.com. "We didn't go to West Virginia or the beach, but did go to the 9-year old World Series."
