With the first practice of the fall in the books, almost every player was glad to get back on the field.

After suffering a devastating loss to Alabama in the 2009 SEC Championship Game, many Florida players went through the off season with a sick feeling in their stomach.

"Every player took it upon themselves (in the off season)," guard Maurice Hurt said Thursday. "That sick feeling they got, they don't want to feel that after the game. Every player made a personal commitment to work as hard as we can to get to Atlanta."
