On Friday morning, the Florida Gators football team finished up practice early and head coach Urban Meyer met with the media for a few minutes to talk about the team.

He touched on the team's development so far, his stance on issues with NFL agents and some players standing out early in practice. He also gave some brief injury updates.

On whether he likes the team:

"I love the team so far. I like what's going on right now. I get to stand back and watch practice and I'm seeing a lot of effort. We're not very good right now, but I like what's going on."
