Harrison Smith was a four-star football player coming out of high school. After preserving a year of eligibility, he emerged as an undersized force at outside linebacker with a bright future. Then along came the 2009 season and the move back to safety. Smith and the Irish defense struggled. Now, the real Harrison Smith appears to have returned.
