KU controls its own destiny
Norman, Okla. -- Nobody expected this to happen. With just two regular season games remaining, No. 2 ranked Kansas (27-2; 12-2) was all but written off in the conference race following its 84-68 loss to Kansas State in Manhattan on February 14. However, the Jayhawks, shortly after defeating Oklahoma (12-16; 4-10), 82-70, on Saturday, found themselves tied atop the conference standings after Colorado defeated No. 5 ranked Texas, 91-89, on Saturday in Boulder. Kansas, with games against Texas A&M and Missouri remaining, controls its own destiny.
