Nehlen earns role
Ryan Nehlen first made his mark during the spring by becoming one of the most reliable and consistent wide receivers on West Virginia's roster. And as fall camp came and went, the redshirt junior didn't fade away like former spring standouts, instead he's solidly in the mix with fellow running mate Ivan McCartney for the opportunity to start at outside wide receiver.
A walk-on and grandson of former WVU Hall of Fame Coach Don Nehlen, the 6-foot-2, 200-pound Morgantown native has shown crisp route running and good ball skills.
