NCAA rules Floyd out for UAB

InsidetheGators.com The NCAA ruled Thursday that Florida sophomore defensive lineman Sharrif Floyd must sit out for two games and arrange repayment of $2,700 to charity before he is eligible to compete. UF held Floyd out of the season opener against FAU, so he'll be required to sit out this weekend against UAB and then eligible to return against Tennessee on Sept. 17.
