WVSports.com Huskies come into town, and for the Mountaineers this game represents a chance to start off the conference season on the right foot and get some payback after the overtime loss to the Huskies a year ago.
"Our guys are going to be motivated due to the fact they lost to them last year and didn't go to a BCS game because of it," Head Coach Dana Holgorsen said.
West Virginia began preparation on UConn Sunday night, and the coaching staff familiarized itself with the game from a season ago by rewatching the film for around two hours.
