Rodriguez takes charge in victory

After Kansas State's 78-70 victory over Texas-El Paso in the semifinals of the Diamond Head Classic on Friday in Honolulu one thing was obvious about the Wildcats. This team now belongs to gutsy freshman point guard Angel Rodriguez. K-State (9-1) squandered a 15-point second half lead and fell behind 59-57 with 10 minutes to go in the game, but then Rodriguez took control of the his team and the contest, guiding the Cats to a 14-1 surge.
