Vincent Valentine thought he was ready to decide.

After visiting Nebraska last month, the 6-foot-3, 300-pound defensive tackle thought he knew that he wanted to be a Cornhusker. He fought back the urge to commit during the visit but still knew where his interest was.

"I felt like I was close and then it just opened it up," Valentine said.
