Kansas State impressed few on Saturday. Nobody was wowed by the effort, and pronouncing the problems that have haunted the Wildcats in recent weeks dead would be presumptuous. At the best, K-State may have earned some sarcastic praise. Hey, it's better than the alternative. The Wildcats' 64-53 victory over the Aggies saved them the trouble of getting their NCAA Tournament hopes fitted for burial suits.
