Life is tough for a kicker, especially when you're one of the several hundred high-school seniors who isn't rated a must-get by the collegiate recruiting services. There will be a few every year who are so good that they get a scholarship to a Division I school, but the overwhelming majority go the walk-on route if they play at the next level.
