Razorbacks look to ULM
Combining what Razorback head coach John L. Smith experienced during the game with post-game film study, on Monday he noted some positives and negatives from Arkansas' 49-24 win over Jacksonville State in the season-opener on Saturday.
"I thought we played the run good the first half."
"Second half was good from a standpoint of not letting anybody in the end zone, keeping them out of the end zone, making them have to kick the football. Usually field goals aren't going to beat you."
"I liked [Nate Holmes] coming back after bobbling the one [punt]. He was so apologetic on that he was almost going to cry on the sideline. But that's good for a young kid. Make a mistake and not crucially hurt you is good. He did make one tremendously athletic run."
