The 2011 season was a difficult pill to swallow for linebacker Josh Francis. The junior college transfer from Damascus, Md. arrived in Morgantown upon a wave of expectation following a successful two year career at the JUCO level.

Those expectations, however, were quieted early on, as Francis found difficulty adjusting to the FBS level and the 3-3-5 scheme of former defensive coordinator Jeff Casteel.
