Louisville takes it away from Mizzou
PARADISE ISLAND, BAHAMAS--From time to time over the final 30 minutes of an 84-61 loss to Louisville, Missouri looked as if it would make a serious run at the nation's second-ranked team. And then, inevitably, Missouri gave that chance away.
The Tigers finished with 23 turnovers against the Cardinals pressure defense, including a career-high eight from Phil Pressey.
"That's what their defense is for, to force turnovers, but I feel like a lot of our turnovers were careless. Some of the mistakes we were making was just mental," Pressey said. "I take full responsibility in the turnover department. Us guards, we just have to take care of the ball."
