Kilicli: 'We needed it for self-confidence'

WVSports.com It has been a rocky start to the 2012-2013 men's basketball season for West Virginia.
After entering the year with high hopes, the Mountaineers got off to a sluggish 1-3 start, highlighted by a blowout loss at Gonzaga and a 1-2 showing in the Old Spice Classic.
But nothing can cure the ills of the road like returning home. The Mountaineers were able to break their two-game slide Wednesday night in impressive fashion, defeating the VMI Keydets 94-69 in the team's home opener.
