No one can accuse the coaches at Virginia of failing to do their ground work early. The Cavaliers have already verbally offered several high school sophomores, a practice that sometimes return solid results.

One of those players is Christian Wilkins, a 6-foot-4, 290-pound defensive end from Suffield Academy in Connecticut.
