Tough road ahead
Missouri may have a bit of a battle on its hands just to get to Lexington, Kentucky. A winter storm dropped nearly a foot of snow on Columbia through the day Thursday and even caused the Tigers some problems practicing.
The team is scheduled to fly out of Columbia late Friday afternoon. Assuming they make the trip with no complications, it won't exactly be a walk in the park once they land. Kentucky is young but talented and the Wildcats are playing for their NCAA Tournament lives and the chance to defend last year's national title. Of course, Haith hopes his team takes the same mindset into the game.
"I don't think any team, obviously there's some top teams that feel like they're comfortable, but I think we're all trying to improve our resume," Haith said. "We've got to continue to fight like we're not in either. We need a great quality road win and we haven't had that yet."
