With just a week left (Vandy, at Kentucky) in the regular season, No. 8 Florida (23-5, 13-3 SEC) is still jockeying for post-season positioning. The Gators' NCAA Tournament seeding remains fluid, as they continue to deal with health concerns, late-game crumbles and general inconsistencies.


Before Saturday's scrappy, come-from-behind win over a tough Alabama team, I asked a coach who has followed the Gators all season, including observing practice, what he thought UF's five starters needed to do better to ensure a potential lengthy tourney run.
