KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- It was clear Kansas State was going to leave everything it had on the Sprint Center court against instate rival Kansas. The mental resolve the 11th-ranked Wildcats had shown all season wouldn't allow them to roll over. It's just too bad the tank was nearing empty from the opening tip of the Big 12 Tournament championship game after the Cats played their third game in as many days.
