OL nabs elusive offer
AUBURN Decatur (Ga.) offensive lineman Terronne Prescod can finally breathe a sigh of relief after receiving the one offer that had eluded him.
The 6-foot-5, 336-pound Prescod attended Auburn's 7-on-7 and lineman challenge Friday and earned an offer from offensive line coach J.B. Grimes.
"It feels great to finally have it. They said I had skills," Prescod said.
Having waited patiently for the Tigers' staff to pull the trigger, the three-star lineman has developed a strong relationship with Grimes and most recently with defensive line/recruiting coordinator Rodney Garner.
"I have a great relationship with (Grimes)," he said. "I've liked him since we first talked when he visited my school. I have a good relationship with Coach Garner, too. We really just started talking, but we have good chemistry. I think they are great coaches. They really want their players to learn and be successful in a game."
