The Texas Longhorns have ventured west to Scottsdale Chaparral High School in recent years to secure football commitments from brothers Austin and Lyle Sendlein and with any luck, they might bring in another highly-rated prospect from that school before things are said and done on the 2005 recruiting season. Texas is right in the thick of things for Chaparral defensive tackle Ekom Udofia but they'll have to fight off some of college football's heavy hitters.
