UT hopes Rose Bowl adds fuel to recruiting
There's no question that the Longhorn athletic department will receive a major windfall from playing in the Rose Bowl on New Year's Day, but the bigger impact on the football program might come in recruiting. No longer will Texas coaches have to worry about defending themselves against the argument that the Horns don't play in big games.
