USC-Cal Basketball Game Preview
It's always fun to play meaningful games in March. After two uneventful postseason conference tournaments in a row, California (18-9, 12-6 in the Pac-10) is back in the thick of it in 2006 after finishing No. 3 in the Pac-10. The Bears first opponent in the Pac-10 Tournament will be No. 6 USC, who fittingly tips off against Cal at 6:20 p.m. from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The Trojans and Bears are more than familiar with each other, having opened and closed the conference regular season, including last Saturday's tilt in Berkeley. Does junior point guard Ayinde Ubaka have his shot back?
