Spring Review: Hall ready to join SEC's elite
DJ Hall wasted no time in establishing himself as John Parker Wilson's top option on the outside, lighting up the secondary during Day One's seven-on-seven period.
After being shutout in the Tide's first full-scale scrimmage, Hall averaged 18.4 yards per catch in the next two.
More of an intermediate option in his first two seasons, the junior-to-be showed the kind of explosiveness in the spring that is reserved for the SEC's top all-around receivers.
Brown missed the final week of drills with an infected toe, but enjoyed a solid stretch of practices otherwise.
In some ways, Brown and Hall swapped roles in the second scrimmage, with Brown catching an assortment of hitches, outs and crossing routes on his way to finishing the workout with five receptions for 39 yards. I
