The much anticipated announcement of Texarkana (Tex.) Texas High quarterback Ryan Mallett is mere hours away and the nation waits on the eventual five-star prospect's decision. A 6-7, 235-pound passer, Mallett was rated as the No. 9 overall prospect in the country in the pre-evaluation period and had suitors from across the nation. That group has been pared down to one with an announcement forthcoming.

Among the five schools Mallett chose from were Michigan, Florida State, Alabama, Notre Dame and Oklahoma.
