Monday could be Moore's night to shine
The great thing about combine season is that prospects start to come out of the woodwork. That was definitely the case last month when Burlington Township junior Kashif Moore was named the top wide receiver at the annual Football Challenge. The showing earned him a spot at the prestigious Elite College Combine on Monday, and if things go his way, Moore could make the transition from under-the-radar to "big time" in just a few weeks time.
Moore clocked a 4.47 in the 40, as well as an amazing 4.09 in the shuttle, at the Football Challenge. He also registered the day's top vertical jump at 37.6 inches. He proved that it wasn't an aberration last week when he nearly matched all of his stats in a combine held at Rutgers University.
Moore continues to receive regular correspondence from Maryland, Rutgers and Syracuse.
