Devlin piling up offers
The offers just keep rolling in for Andrew Devlin. Northwestern, Maryland, Virginia Tech and Wisconsin are schools that recently extended offers to the Pittsburgh (PA) Mt. Lebanon tight end/defensive end, bringing his total to "about 20," he said. So many that he can't quite remember all of them.
It's easy to see why so many schools are interested in Devlin. First of all, he's big - 6-foot-6 and 255 pounds, to be exact, and that never hurts. But it's the fact that he's big and fast that really sets him apart from the crowd.
Northwestern is recruiting Devlin as a defensive end since the Wildcats don't use a tight end very often in their spread offense.
