Epps takes up outdoor track to help prepare for UM

CaneSport.com Hurricanes signee Dedrick Epps knew after he inked with UM in February that conditioning would be a major factor before his arrival at college.
So he decided to sign up for outdoor track.
The team, which was ranked No. 2 in the nation for indoors, didn't need much help.
But Epps has contributed in the 100, 4x1 relay and high jump.
At 6-foot-4 and 227 pounds, he towers over the other 100-meter competitors.
But he hangs with most of them on the track. His personal best is 11.4 seconds.
And he's jumped 6-foot-0 in the high jump.
