Local tight end has two offers

A tight end with a fast 40 time and a GPA in the stratosphere, a tempting tandem of attributes that have made David Paulson one of the most sought after players at Auburn Riverside in some time.
"In the 12 years I've coached — including my two at Western Montana — he's the best player I've ever had," coach Andrew Sage said. "Strictly speaking, David is an amazing young man and athlete. He's the total package. If I had ten of him, I'd be a heck of a coach! Six-foot four inches with a 4.6 in the forty, on top of that, he's got a 3.9 (GPA), he could get into Stanford."
With junior days at Washington State and Oregon and a visit to a UW scrimmage under his belt, Paulson's May schedule included a trip to a combine in Los Angeles and the Nike Camp in Palo Alto.
