Touted Virginia tight end visits Clemson Thursday
One of the top tight end targets on Clemson's recruiting board is Charlottesville, Va. - St. Anne's-Belfield star Brian Linthicum.
The talented jumbo-athlete has reeled in 12 scholarship offers, with more on the way in the very near future.
On Thursday Linthicum took his first unofficial visit of the summer, a stop off in Clemson which actually began Wednesday night when his plane arrived at 11:15 p.m.
"Me and my mom (Carla) got here late last night, and this morning around 10:30 we got started. We showed up at the football complex, and coach (Billy) Napier and coach (Paul) Hogan showed me around," Linthicum told Tigerillustrated.com in a Thursday evening interview.
