Knighten and co. impress at camp
Size and speed. That's what was on display in Norman as Oklahoma opened it's second session of 2006 camps. Headlining the groups were Tulsa Hale's Danny Knighten and Tim Stanton along with Midwest City's John Flanders and Hezekiah Robinson.
Knighten, who is well respected as one of the state's most athletic and promising prospects has also been shrouded in mystery with a mixture of grade questions along with a general lack of knowledge regarding the player that has yet to play a full season for the Rangers.
While he certainly cleared up some questions by showing up, and ultimately showing off, on Monday afternoon he may have created more controversy as well. Most are sold on Knighten as a top flight wide receiver prospects checking in at just a hair under 6-foot-3, and roughly 195-pounds but Knighten put in a solid day working with the quarterbacks as he prepares to take the reigns under center for Hale.
