Korn makes decision on early enrollment
Clemson received some very big news in August of 2005 when Willy Korn of Duncan James F. Byrnes decided to make a commitment.
The Tigers received some more good news from Korn on Friday, this time with his announcement to forego the second semester of his senior year to graduate in December.
The move will put the five-star rated quarterback in position to enroll at Clemson in January, giving him the right to travel with the Tigers to their bowl destination in December, minus practice-rights with the team, and clearing him for spring workouts in March.
"It was important to me to come in early and learn as much as I can, to get used to things," Korn told Tigerillustrated.com. "To compete at a high level and to do it as a freshman, that was appealing. To learn the offense, and come in with a chance to make an early impact had a lot to do with it."
