Little knows where he stands
If Greg Little never received another scholarship offer, he probably wouldn't notice.
The do-everything, projected-everywhere athlete from Durham, N.C., said he's up to 55 offers with Oregon and Boston College among the latest programs to jump into the sweepstakes for the Rivals100 prospect that made his high school reputation at running back but wants to star at receiver in college. Perhaps the only major program not to offer Little is Texas, but the 6-foot-2, 214-pound prospect doesn't seem to mind.
"I'm not too disappointed about that, they're almost finished recruiting," Little said. "Everything has been going pretty good. It's only getting better."
Life is also returning to a level of sanity for Little after a whirlwind evaluation period that attracted visits from Charlie Weis and Urban Meyer. Little said Pete Carroll was supposed to visit Hillside High School as well before a travel snafu nixed that meet and briefly greet. Little wants to make good on that sit down with Carroll later this summer with a trip to Los Angeles.
