The weather forecast for Duke's 2006 football season has never exactly called for beautiful sunshine. However, it is certainly hard not to downgrade it from partly cloudy with a chance of rain to a monsoon following the announcement that quarterback Zack Asack has been suspended from the university for the full academic year.

There's every reason in the world to say the season is over even before it begins. After all, Duke will be down to only two scholarship quarterbacks, neither of whom have ever started a college game under center.
